Are you a proven aged care leader ready to take the reins of a high-capacity facility and drive meaningful outcomes in care, compliance, and culture?

We’re seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead the operations of a large-scale residential aged care home supporting over 180 residents. This is a key opportunity for someone with a strong operational background who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about person-centred care.

About the Role

Reporting to a supportive executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, including workforce planning, compliance, financial performance, and accreditation readiness. Your leadership will directly shape resident experience, staff engagement, and the facility’s ability to meet the evolving standards of aged care.

This is a role for someone who leads from the front-someone who is as comfortable resolving complex clinical issues as they are streamlining rosters, managing budgets, and guiding their team through reform implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a large workforce to deliver safe, person-centred care across all services
  • Ensure compliance with aged care legislation, quality standards, and audit expectations
  • Oversee financial performance, care minute reporting, and operational KPIs
  • Drive cultural transformation through positive leadership and staff recognition initiatives
  • Partner with residents, families, and the broader community to promote trust and engagement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by analysing data, audits, and feedback trends
  • Manage emergency preparedness, WHS compliance, and contractor relationships

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Significant leadership experience managing aged care facilities with 180+ beds
  • Deep understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and sector reforms
  • Strong track record in occupancy growth, compliance, and workforce development
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, clinical governance, and operational performance
  • Committed to delivering safe, inclusive, and high-quality services for residents
